What To Expect During Your Costa Mesa Pool Construction

Pool construction involves the below phases.

The exact amount of time needed to build your pool will depend on the specific type of pool design you’ve selected, but on average it typically takes between 8 to 10 weeks. However, weather and other variables outside of our control can affect the timing of when your pool construction will be complete. We are committed to communicating with you throughout the entire build process and updating you on the status of completion.

Pre-Planning Process

Our swimming pool contractor will meet with you to discuss your pool design and assess your property to determine the exact location of the pool. You’ll also be provided with a written estimate of your pool during this pre-planning phase and a design if necessary.

Our team gathers the necessary permits for implementing your new pool build.

The excavation phase involves shaping your pool. Our team uses excavators to remove the dirt. All dirt is always discarded offsite.

Steel & Plumbing

After digging out the exact shape of your pool, we add the steel. This provides support and durability to the structure of your pool.

Swimming Pool Construction

Our inground pool construction phase involves applying the shotcrete material that will form the pool. Once the shotcrete is dry we will begin the plastering phase. The following electrical phase usually takes place during the shotcrete drying process. We’ll also install the tile/decking around your pool during this phase.

A sub-panel is installed by our electrician that will control and power the pump, heater, filter, and lighting.

Plaster is applied to the outer parts of your pool, which will help the pool to have a waterproof layer. Once the plaster has been added, we’ll fill your pool with water.

We remove all materials from your property and appropriately discard them.
