What To Expect During Your Costa Mesa Pool Construction
Pool construction involves the below phases.
The exact amount of time needed to build your pool will depend on the specific type of pool design you’ve selected, but on average it typically takes between 8 to 10 weeks. However, weather and other variables outside of our control can affect the timing of when your pool construction will be complete. We are committed to communicating with you throughout the entire build process and updating you on the status of completion.
Pre-Planning ProcessOur swimming pool contractor will meet with you to discuss your pool design and assess your property to determine the exact location of the pool. You’ll also be provided with a written estimate of your pool during this pre-planning phase and a design if necessary. |
PermittingOur team gathers the necessary permits for implementing your new pool build. |
ExcavationThe excavation phase involves shaping your pool. Our team uses excavators to remove the dirt. All dirt is always discarded offsite. |
Steel & PlumbingAfter digging out the exact shape of your pool, we add the steel. This provides support and durability to the structure of your pool. |
Swimming Pool ConstructionOur inground pool construction phase involves applying the shotcrete material that will form the pool. Once the shotcrete is dry we will begin the plastering phase. The following electrical phase usually takes place during the shotcrete drying process. We’ll also install the tile/decking around your pool during this phase. |
ElectricalA sub-panel is installed by our electrician that will control and power the pump, heater, filter, and lighting. |
PlasteringPlaster is applied to the outer parts of your pool, which will help the pool to have a waterproof layer. Once the plaster has been added, we’ll fill your pool with water. |
CleanupWe remove all materials from your property and appropriately discard them. |

This company installed a outdoor fire pit, which included Lena gas line, taking up some old brick, and building a new fire pit. Tyler and his crew were first class! We had a project in mind but didn’t know who could do it but knew it would be an important decision since it’s on a prominent wall in our house.
They came in with clear plans. Told us what we needed to supply and within the next 2 hours the first layer was finished and we had set a plan for the next set of work to be done.
